~Be wary, all ye who dare tread the sacred ground found within this humble thread~

The following is very boring but read it anyway:

This is the brainstorming thread for the MAB Bible. Once we get enough I'll be cleaning up and organizing everything submitted. Go crazy and post whatever verses, parables, and commandments you feel should be included in our holy book. NO VULGARITY. This includes cursing/swearing. You can easily be biting without resorting to gutter speech.

Person's who come up with individual verses and ideas will not be credited within the actual Bible(Imagine how long it would take to wade through all the parenthesis and footnotes). Instead, this thread will remain as an archive of what was submitted by whom, and when.

Wording may be changed and ideas may be combined within the actual Bible.

If the thread gets off topic I may delete your posts with no notice.

This is a brainstorming thread: we want people's ideas to flow. While you may want to read what people posted before, if it gets long enough this may not be practical. So no replying to others with "I already said that:)" and the like. You may, however, reply to someone else's post with a suggestion for better wording. The person replied to has no obligation to change anything, but it will be helpful when the final version is compiled.

A MAB parent was talking to a DEV and she asked: "Oh great and powerful DEV what is a million years to you?" and the DEV replied: "A Million years is as a second to us." So the MAB parent continued: "Then great and powerful DEV what is a new growth level to you?" and again the DEV replied: "A new growth level is but numbers to us." And so the MAB parent pleaded: "Oh great and powerful DEVs! Will you not grant us the numbers of a new growth level?" and the DEV replied: "Give me a second"

Feel free to use both pseudo-Olde English and current modern English in your submissions. Post as many times as you like, as often as you like. If you can't seem to condense your ideas well enough, ramble. Be serious, be ridiculous, be crazy - have FUN!

The devs created the first baby, Blue. He was very well dressed and had a blue Mohawk. As a perma PreK, Nick told him: " Young child, you must represent all babies, show them the way, and whatever you do, do NOT bring over the n00bs."
Blue did as he said, for the first couple months, but soon enough he not longer paid attention to who he was attracting.

The n00bs came by hundreds and flooded the Discussion Board.

These may not be in order but here are the 12 MAB Commandments (courtesy of all on the chatbox tonight):

1. Thou shalt not be a n00b.
2. Thou shalt honour Thy Developers.
3. Thou shalt not be a shit disturber.
4. Thou shalt not hold half-assed contests.
5. Thou shalt post a link when attempting to adopt.
6. Thou shalt not write in Caps nor TyPe LyK DiS.
7. Thou shalt not suffer a n00b to post.
8. Thou shalt read the Help section before posting stupid questions.
9. Thou shalt respect others as you would like to be respected.
10. Thou shalt keep thy children in the green or useth Doll Mode.
11. Thou shalt not spam the Discussion Board.
12. Thou shalt not plagiarize other babies' profiles.

Nick and Reina created the the babies and the levels.With their minds wide open to a new type of world.There own baby world.As he began to send his first child in the world Blue he took it upon his self to make sure his town grew fruitfully.

And the people posted on the DEVs' walls, desperate for an update. But the DEVs did not answer. And the people created a multitude of threads to discuss what they thought of this silence, and links to these threads were given to the DEVs. But the DEVs did not answer. And the people began to pm the DEVs, in the hopes of being the blessed one who would be graced with a few words. But the DEVs did not answer.

The people grew weary and began to split off into factions. To the East, the OldPlayers, who remembered a time when MAB was better. To the South, the Cynists, who were certain this meant the end of MAB was nigh. To the West, the Drama-n00bs, who widely and loudly proclaimed their intentions to leave MAB forever... again and again. And to the North, the SoftHearts, who encouraged the other factions to believe in the DEVs, who had created everything in the first place.

And still the DEVs did nothing to show they heard the cries of their people or felt their discomfort. And it was a dark and boring time for MAB.

And then from the darkness came a prophet named Mark, who fortold of a new level with large heads, freaky eyes, and an assortment of weapons. But the people were united and did not believe him. And he produced many photos, and still the people did not believe him. And the prophet did supply them with foreign scripture, saying it was of the DEVs themselves and with it the people could see what they saw. And some did try it and they saw wondrous and frightening things. Yet some still did not believe.

And the people began to change the scripture, to show not just the future but the past and present as well. They saw that it was accurate and more came to accept the prophet's words. Yet some still did not believe.

And it was pointed out that only if he had broken in to the realm of the DEVs themselves could he have falsified the scriptures. Yet still some did not believe.

The prophet Mark, shamed that his word was not trusted and regretful for having given the Word of the DEVs unto the people in the first place, attempted to flee and to erase his presence from the very minds of the people. But the knowledge had spread far and the people had created copies of the scripture and they did continue to experiment.

And the prophet Mark attempted to confuse the people by bringing up old news, in the hopes of burying his transgressions. But the people were not fooled.

And the prophet Mark did leave the land, ignoring the aggrieved cries of the people. And the people continued to discuss his words and actions, until that too became boring.

And then the heavens did open up and the DEV Nick did speak: "Boo!"
