Riley Carrion

~The First-Born~
Personality: Riley is the most mature one in her family. Clear and level-headed, she enjoys figuring out problems, whether they are her own, her family’s or even just the passing stranger she met while wandering around. A lover of music, she herself plays no instrument. However she has a beautiful voice if one can coerce her into singing. Complex and sometimes quick to anger, Riley is less than perfect. However, she has no false pretenses about this. When Victor told her once, she just looked at him and said “I never claimed to be.”

Numerology: Riley’s Numerology number is 3, and she possesses many traits assimilated to this Life Path. The number 3 is known for its bright, effervescent personality and tendency to live life to its fullest. A classic 3, Riley is great at connecting with others. Armed with the ability to listen as well as conduct a warm and friendly conversation, she slips with ease into social situations. However the number 3 also has its faults. Very sensitive, Riley can be known to become recluse if upset, or even for no reason. Since the 3 is a very loyal person, Riley can also get incredibly defensive about her younger siblings, especially her brother.

Family: Riley has only one true genetic sibling, her brother Christopher. All the others in her large extended family were either co-parented or adopted. The daughter of a former foster care owner, the house was always packed with kids, some of whom she got along with, some of whom she formed unbreakable connections. A long time ago, Lelinaria stopped being a foster sister and became a real sister.

Past: When Riley was six, her father left on a business trip and never came home. They received news that the boat he was on sank, but no body was ever found. Eventually he was pronounced dead. Still very young when it happened, the effect of this loss were never really felt until she was a little older and missed something that she could only barely remember. Although it has been years since then, Riley has never secretly given up the hope that one day he might walk through the door.

Friends: Riley’s best friend is and will always be Chris. Growing up in a house of strangers, they always had each other, and formed a bond stronger than mere brother and sister who are one year apart. Riley’s closest female friend is her sister Lelinaria. A rebellious, hilarious girl to be around, Riley loves to get swept up in her many thrilling schemes and adventurous stories.

Love: Riley’s only boyfriend was a boy in her mother’s foster care named Victor. He seemed to be charming and sweet, and the two began dating, with her mother’s permission. Victor and Chris were friends and Lelinaria was indifferent to him. With everyone’s approval, it seemed to be the perfect match. However Victor turned out to be a really flat, selfish person. He wouldn’t talk to other people if he didn’t feel like it, forcing Riley to do most of the conversing, while he just interjected his commentary. He was confronted about this several times by both Riley and Chris, but to no avail. The final straw occurred when a group of girls harassing Riley and Chris for being foster kid’s “siblings”, turned to personal attacks on Riley. Lelinaria stepped in and sent them off, but not before the damage was done. Humiliated and upset, Riley was furious that her boyfriend had stood there the whole time and done nothing to defend her. She dumped him on the spot. Since then, she has still never found a boy she truly connected with.
